Abstract: Scavenger receptors is a superfamily of proteins with heterogeneous structure, which is involved in the occurrence and biological pathways of various diseases, plays an important role in innate immunity and homeostasis, and is an important molecule regulating host immune function. Oral squamous cell carcinomaOSCC) is one of the most common malignancies in oral cavity. In recent years, the prevalence and mortality of oral cancer have been on the rise, and more common in younger population. Targeted therapy and immunotherapy have shown great potential in the treatment of oral cancer, especially in advanced oral cancer. The neoadjuvant treatment mode of immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy has good safety and effectiveness, which can shorten the operation time and reduce the surgical trauma without affecting the prognosis of patients. This article mainly reviewed the current research progress on scavenger receptor family and OSCC immunotherapy, in order to provide more potential immunotherapy targets for the treatment of OSCC.
