These principles are applied by CJOMS in order to adhere to ethical standards of advertising and to assure the independence of content.
● Advertising is separate from content. Advertisers and sponsors should have no advance knowledge of our editorial content, nor should the editors shape content to accommodate advertising. Advertisers do not influence any of the publishers’ editorial decisions or advertising policies.
● Advertisements must be legal, decent and truthful and comply with the relevant laws, regulations and industry codes for the geographic area in which they appear.
● CJOMS will not accept advertising for products or services known to be harmful to health (e.g. tobacco and alcohol products).
