The accuracy of robot-assisted dental implant surgery and factors affecting precision

Abstract: With the evolution of the fourth industrial revolution, the development of more complex intelligent systems has greatly improved the availability and reliability of digital technology. Digital technology has blurred the boundaries between the physical world and the virtual reality through the means of virtual reality and augmented reality. The field of oral implantation has benefited from technological advancements, gradually evolving from digital static guide technology to the use of new dynamic navigation equipment and real-time tracking technology with novel autonomous robots. This article reviewed the principles of various dental robotics and common surgical deviations, aiming to provide relevant references for oral clinical practice and basic research.
