Abstract: Impacted mandibular second molars (MM2) are extremely rare cases, and the extraction of low-impacted MM2 is one of the challenging procedures in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Digital tooth-supported guide plates enable precise and minimally invasive operations for the extraction. This article reported a case of minimally invasive extraction of bilaterally low-impacted MM2 with a digital tooth-supported guide plate. Additionally, it summarized the design of common digital guide plate currently used as adjuvants in tooth extraction and the surgeon's clinical application strategies in combination with literature review.
